Every construction project is unique in scope, but our process is systemically applied to each situation. We seek to get involved early in the design phase so that we can manage the project more efficiently, provide effective building solutions, and identify challenges early on to mitigate design changes after construction commencement. This involves detailed pre-construction planning crucial to successful construction and on-time delivery, and allows the client and team a clear pathway to the bidding process, construction phase, and through to completion.
As general contractor and construction manager, KM’s involvement begins from the earliest stages of design through to client occupancy. KM’s open-book management approach provides the client with comprehensive control over all aspects of the project, including budgeting and scheduling, while utilizing our management and team capabilities to supervise construction activities, control costs, achieve timely performance, manage material deliveries, and maintain quality production standards. Value engineering survives the life of the project and is continuously employed to optimize costs and time to ensure that design and materials meet physical and functional requirements. The project team transitions its day-to-day activities to a field site operation to provide hands-on supervisory services.
